Ringing Bells, the makers of Freedom 251 - the Rs 251 priced smartphone, on Friday said that it would open bookings for its 31.5-inch Freedom 9900 HD LED TV on the independence day.

In case of the TV sets, it claims that it will start delivering the TVs from the next day which is August 16. But the company has given no clarity has to how the whole process will work and how it will manage to take orders and deliver in just a day. The previous flip-flops also raise a serious doubt.
SPPL, which manufactures TVs under the brand names of Prime, Suntek, Crown and Beltek, launched five HD LED TVs in screen sizes of 32, 40 and 50 inches at a price point of Rs 13,500 and upwards.
