Realme on Thursday launched two new smartphones, Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1, in India. Realme 2 Pro is a mid-range smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with up to 8GB of RAM. Realme C1 is an entry-level phone with Qualocmm Snapdragon 450 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. Realme 2 Pro: Full specsRealme 2 Pro is available in three options - 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB - priced at ₹13,990, ₹15,990 and ₹17,990 respectively.The smartphone has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with Snapdragon 660 AIE processor with 4GB/8GB of RAM. The phone comes in 64GB and 128GB options. Realme 2 Pro features a dual-rear camera setup which consists of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The smartphone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery. Realme C1: Full specsThe entry-level Realme C1 has a large 6.2-inch display with notch. It is powered by a 4,320mAh battery. Realme C1 comes with 13MP + 2MP dual-cameras and 5MP AI selfie camera. It comes with 16GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD slot. It runs on ColorOS 5.1.
Xiaomi on Thursday launched a total of seven new products in India. The new ‘Smarter Living’ product lineup includes Mi LED TV 4 Pro, 4A Pro and 4C Pro, Mi Band 3, Mi Air Purifier 2S, Mi Home Security Camera and Mi Luggage.Xiaomi’s new Mi LED TV 4 series starts at ₹14,999, and comes with an updated Patchwall. Xiaomi has partnered with Google for Patchwall which is based on Android TV. With this integration, Patchwall now brings Google Play Store, YouTube app, and Chromecast built-in. The new Mi LED TVs will also come with Amazon Prime Video app. Xiaomi will be rolling out the new update to existing Mi TVs soon.The new Mi Band 3 features a larger OLED display, and is water resistant up to 50m. It also shows notifications from WhatsApp and the messages can be viewed on the smart band itself. Xiaomi’s new Mi Air Purifier 2S features a digital OLED display, precise air purification and smarter home integration. It also comes with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built-in. Mi Home Security Camera offers a 360-degree viewing angle along with a two-way audio. It supports full HD video recording and offers microSD card support up to 64GB. Xiaomi also introduced Mi Luggage which will be available in two sizes of 20-inch and 24-inch and colour options of grey, blue and red.Here are the highlights from today’s launch event.
