Samsung on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note 9.Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts at $999 (₹68,800 approximately) for the base model, and $1,249 (₹86,000 approximately) for the top model.Samsung also announced the new S Pen which comes with a finer tip and higher pressure sensitivity. Fortnite beta will launch for Galaxy Note 9 this week. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor for the US model, and in-house Exynos 9810 SoC for other markets. In terms of storage, Galaxy Note 9 comes in two variants - 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage, 8GB RAM plus 512GB storage. For photography, Galaxy Note 9 sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel sensors with dual optical image stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.On the software front, Galaxy Note 9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Like the Galaxy Note 8, its successor also comes with support for wireless charging.
