The release of new video chat devices fits into Facebook’s focus toward private messaging by encryption of conversations on more of its messaging services.

Some big tech firms cut employees’ access to Huawei, muddying 5G rollout

Chipmakers Intel Corp and Qualcomm Inc, mobile research firm InterDigital Wireless Inc and South Korean carrier LG Uplus have restricted employees from informal conversations with Huawei.

Microsoft unveils next-gen ‘Project Scarlett’ Xbox console, set to launch in 2020

The console will show up to 120 frames per second or twice the average TV, and include a solid-state drive, Microsoft said, allowing games to load much faster than on its older mechanical hard drives.

Facebook suspends app pre-installs on Huawei phones

Huawei smartphones will no longer come with pre-installed Facebook apps including Instagram and WhatsApp.
Barack and Michelle Obama's production company Higher Ground has signed a deal with Spotify to create a series of podcasts for the music streaming service, which is seeking to diversify its content.
